When I move it into internal storage - it opens up just fine. Because it's a side-loaded app, it goes automatically to external storage - but it still won't launch. I uninstalled and re-installed a second time, and installed Kodi 19.3 directly from the Kodi site. I've uninstalled and re-installed and tried both Kodi 18.9 and 19.3 and the same thing happened. However, when trying to launch Kodi, it looked like it was about to open, before just returning me to the main Fire TV screen.
I then moved Kodi over to external storage - which seemed to work just fine - no error messages and when going into "Manage My Applications" it now has the USB icon next to it. I plugged it into a USB port on the side of the TV, went into settings and formatted it. Storage capacity is about 4.7 GB and I kept getting "storage low" messages so I bought a USB Flash Drive (HP 128GB x900w USB 3.0 Flash Drive). I am using an Insignia Fire TV (Model: INSIGNIA_NS-50DF710NA21) (Software Version: Fire OS 7.2.4.4 (PS7244/1993)). Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated. I posted this question to r/kodi, which I thought was the obvious subreddit for this question, but as they downvoted me to "0" - I guess not.
